allweek Privacy Policy
Effective: October 29, 2026
Operator: ALLWEEK LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we", "us")
Contact: support@joinallweek.com
allweek is a private community app for your congregation and the groups you join, with a Bible reader as an add-on. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.
The short version: we don't sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking. Your Bible notes and highlights stay on your phone. Community content is visible only to approved members of the congregation or group where it is posted. We never use your device's location. Notifications are optional and never include the text of your messages, posts or prayers.
1. Information you give us
At sign-up (your account)
- Your name.
- A profile photo (required).
- Email address and password. The password is stored only as a secure hash.
- Phone number.
- Confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Optionally, your area: a city and state, or a ZIP code, that you type.
Your area
- We never use GPS or your device's location. Your area is only what you type.
- We use it to suggest groups near you.
- You can change or clear it at any time in Account.
Congregation membership (if you join a congregation)
- The congregation you ask to join, and which invite code you used, if any.
- When you started attending.
- Your role (member, moderator or admin) and your status (pending, active or banned).
Group membership
- The groups you create, join or ask to join.
- Your role in each group (owner, moderator or member) and your status.
- For a group you create: its name, description, who can join, whether it is shown in suggestions, and its area.
What you can add (optional)
- A short bio.
- Your household: names, relationship, and children's birth years. Add these only with your household's consent.
- Family notes.
- Business name, phone and website.
- You can change or clear any of these at any time.
Content you post (in your congregation or a group)
- Posts, comments and reactions.
- Direct messages, and your message settings (who can message you). These settings are stored with your account.
- Meetups you create or join: title, description, schedule, and a free-text location.
Photos
- Photos on posts (up to 4), comments, meetup covers, and your profile photo.
- You have one profile photo for your account. It is used in your congregation and in your groups.
- Photos are re-encoded on your device before upload. This removes location and camera data.
- Photos on posts, comments and meetups are visible only to members of the congregation or group where they are posted.
Reports and blocks
- Reports you file, including your reason.
- Members you block.
Notifications (if you turn them on)
- A push token for your device: an identifier from Google or Apple that lets us send notifications to that device. We also store the device type (iPhone or Android), the app version, and when the app last checked in.
- Your notification settings: which kinds of notifications you want, and the congregations or groups you have muted.
- A short-lived record of each notification we send (who it was for, its kind, and which post, conversation or group it points to), kept for up to 7 days.
2. Information that stays on your device
These are stored only on your phone and are never sent to us:
- Highlights, notes and tags.
- Reading position.
- Reader, voice and speed settings.
- Your AI study conversation history.
Text-to-speech uses your phone's built-in voices.
3. AI study aid
- When you ask a question, the text is sent to a server we operate and answered by an AI model running on that server.
- We don't send your questions to any third-party AI company.
- We don't keep a log of your questions or the answers.
- Messages that indicate someone may be in crisis receive crisis resources, such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
- AI answers can be wrong. They are not pastoral, medical or professional advice.
4. Who can see what
- Members only. Posts, comments, reactions, photos and meetups are visible only to approved members of the congregation or group where they are posted. Nothing is visible to people outside it. There are no public profiles.
- Your profile in your congregation. Members of your congregation see your photo, name, when you started attending, and bio.
- Only if you choose to share them, and only with your congregation: your email, phone, household, family notes and business details.
- A member you have blocked cannot see your listing.
- Direct messages. Private between the participants. Neither allweek nor any congregation's or group's staff can read your messages. The only exception: if someone in a conversation reports a message, the report includes up to the last 20 messages of that conversation.
- Meetup rosters. Visible to members by default. You can hide yourself from any meetup's roster.
- Join requests to a congregation. Your join request (with your photo, name, contact details and when you started attending) is shown to your congregation's staff and allweek moderators for approval.
- Your congregation's staff and allweek moderators (ALLWEEK LLC staff) can:
- see your contact details (email, phone) and membership information, to approve members and keep the community safe
- see reports and the reported content
- remove content and profile photos
- ban members
- approve new members
In groups
- Group members see each member's photo, name, bio and role in that group.
- Contact details (email, phone, household, family notes and business details) are never shown in groups.
- Posts, comments, photos and meetups in a group are visible only to that group's members. Messages are visible only to their participants.
- If an owner shows a group in suggestions, members in the same area can see the group's name, description, area and member count. They can't see its posts or its members.
- Group owners and moderators see join requests for their group (your photo and name). They do not see your email or phone.
- allweek moderators can see group content and reports to keep the community safe.
5. How we use information
We use your information only to run the app:
- signing you in
- showing your congregation's and your groups' content
- suggesting groups near you, from the area you typed
- delivering messages
- sending the notifications you turn on, such as new messages, prayers for your requests, replies, and updates from your groups
- one gentle weekly encouragement on Wednesdays if you haven't posted, commented or prayed that week. You can turn it off in Settings → Notifications.
- moderation and safety
- keeping the service secure
We don't use it for advertising or profiling, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
6. Where data is stored
- Community data is stored on a server we operate in the United States.
- It is reached over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection through Cloudflare, which carries the traffic but does not use its contents.
- Encrypted nightly backups are kept with Cloudflare R2 storage. Each backup is automatically deleted after 14 days.
- Notifications are sent through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which acts as our processor; on iPhones it hands them to Apple's push service. They receive your device's push token and the notification itself: a short title and line such as "New message from Sarah T." or "3 new posts in Tuesday Pickleball", plus the ids the app needs to open the right screen. They never receive the text of your messages, posts, comments or prayers.
7. Safety and moderation records
- Reports. When content is reported, we save a copy (a "snapshot") of it with the report, including text and photos. The snapshot is kept even if the content is later removed or the author deletes their account, so moderators have a record of what was reviewed and why.
- Blocks and reports. We use them to detect repeat behavior. If several members block or report the same member, that member's new conversations may be paused until reviewed.
- Ban markers. If a member is banned, we keep a one-way cryptographic fingerprint (a keyed hash) of their phone number and email. We don't keep the number or email itself. This lets us flag a new sign-up that matches. Markers are kept after account deletion, and deleted if the ban is lifted.
- Across congregations and groups. Reports, blocks and ban markers work across congregations and groups. A ban from a group applies only to that group. A ban by allweek or by a congregation applies across allweek.
8. Deleting your account and data
Delete your account in the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes:
- your account, and your memberships in your congregation and in all your groups
- your posts and comments
- your profile and profile photo, and the details you added: bio, household, family notes and business details
- every direct-message conversation you were part of. This removes the conversation for the other person too.
- your device push tokens and notification settings
Device push tokens are also deleted when you sign out of the app on that device, when Google or Apple tells us the app is no longer installed there, and when the device hasn't checked in for 270 days.
Report snapshots and ban markers (section 7) are kept.
Archived groups. An archived group and its content stay visible to its members until allweek removes the group.
Deleted data is removed from backups as they expire, within 14 days.
Deleting the app removes everything stored only on your device (section 2).
You can also email support@joinallweek.com to request deletion or a copy of your data.
9. Age requirement
- allweek is for adults 18 and older.
- We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
- If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also notify you in the app.
